Description:   This little gem of a park is a worthy destination when you just need a bit of time in nature, and don’t want to make a long drive to the mountains.  Farrel-McWhirter Park began life as a farm.  Many farm buildings remain on the property, and children can look at several farm animals or take a class through the Redmond Parks Department.  Walk the wooded trails, enjoying the native flowers and the sounds of birds.  Kids can also play in the modest play area, or just run in the large open meadows.
