Paradise Valley Conservation Area

Distance: Up to 13 miles of trails to wander

Elevation Gain: Flat to moderately sloping

Season: Year-round

Description: This 793-acre area was originally homesteaded in the 1800s. Much of it was logged then, but there is a mature forest now, with trails for hikers, horses and mountain bikers. If you’re lucky, you’ll find evidence of all sorts of wildlife and birds. Some of the streams even support salmon!

Directions: From I-405, take the exit for SR 522 eastbound toward Woodinville/Monroe. In Maltby, take a right on Paradise Lake Road.The parking lot is just north of the Lloyd Family Farm on the west side of the road. There is a porta-potty there.
